The "Slow down Summer, it's already July?" BS Thread

This was all the same company. Christensen Farms out of Sleepy Eye. Most of the barns were setup this way. We did networking installs in a bunch of them. Luckily for me, the only ones I had to go into were a couple that were close, then a cluster in Iowa and a cluster in Nebraska. Otherwise, I got to pawn most of the single ones off to someone else.
Good hot & humid afternoon everyone.
I am back. Work has been nuts again. It should slow down soon. I have heard there is a drought but we are still pumping out mower blades. It is a good thing but would like to be able to have some time when its slower.
Almost done moving out of my house. Renter moves in around July 28. Started last Friday and almost done. It helps when the whole family shows up.
Sorry that I am going to miss camping in Clearwater. I have my Nephews wedding in Green Bay that weekend. Remember to bring the Wright wood or I can give you directions to my pile.

LOL!!
Good morning Dale!
Yep the bio security can be interesting. The barn I am going to this afternoon requires no showering in and out but I will as soon as I get home. I just have to have plastics on my boots before I go in the barn.
Afternoon Mike! Only a couple days left before the new job.

Hello again. Two nights straight.
Nice to be back. Can't get any time at work and hardly any at home these days.
Dustin (I think) asked what the story on the truck was.
I went through about three or four beater trucks with huge dreams of restoring one. Actually, one of them was quite serviceable and ran well. It was a Diesel 6.9. Then, I finally wised up and sold them all and bought a friends truck. The problem is, he splits time between AZ and CA. So, he wasn't always around to hand it off. Also, I had a lot of time dealing with brokers. Finally, I found a company that takes your money up front, but actually delivers (United Road). They were able to get it done in about 10 business days.
The truck is a 1989 F-350 XLT Lariat Regular Cab 4x4 with 351W and C6. It has 33 x 16.5 tires on it. I opted for him to keep the capper, as it doesn't work with the bed liner. The liner comes up over the lip. I hate cappers and like bed liners, especially the spray in kind, which this does not have.
Anyway, the hood is peeling and rusty. There is a little bit going on on top of the cab too. Otherwise, it looks pretty good. Just minor issues. I do need to change out the valve cover gaskets as they have been compressed beyond flat and leak.
Fuel econ is horrible. Good thing it carries about a Benjamin's worth of fuel at a time. That will get about 400 miles, if I'm doing the math right.
I'll post pics soon.

Good evening guys.
Watched the 8th graders second to last game tonight, they ended up winning 21-2. Pretty fun game to watch, they scored 6 runs(max allowed per inning ) 3 times on the other team and had back to back home runs(over the fence) in one inning.
Yes I do.
See above
Hi Lee, long time no see. Good luck on the move and with the renter.
Yep, you ahve the next 3 days off!
You said bung..........
Hi Eric, congrats on getting the truck home finally.
Those 5.8's are thirsty pigs, at least the one we had in our 85 was. That one had a Holly 4bbl on it though.
