68 update
Well..tore into the driver side cab mount today...boy..now I see why people take their cabs off!! Needless to say I'm going to have to get more cutting wheels and buy a little more patients

This hobby has a way of doing that. If your b-day is coming up, ask for a white-tipped wrench - a plasma cutter.

Unfortunately my birthday is in December haha but I do like this idea! I've had the chance to buy some tools including my own welded..but I'm 19 and this as of now is my only project vehicle. So..to save money....I guess I'm doing it the hard way haha approximately how much could I find one for? Maybe used?

new here and was wondering if any one could give me some tips on swapping a 78 f150 body to a 77 f250 "highboy". as far as i know the cabs are the same just was wondering what i was going to have to do for the box since the frame rails are diff. and if i can just unplug the wiring on the cab to the motor and not have to swap the entire wiring harness? the 78 f150 is a 302 and the 77 f250 is a 400. any advice or input would be much appreciated thanks

now..with the way I am going about this..would you think the new ones would fit on afterwards? I almost cut through the e brake cable while cutting..and was also wondering what the easiest way would be to disconnect the cable.
