Good Evening Everyone. By the way, cute dog Bill. Wow, another whirlwind day. I'm sure glad I'm riding & God is driving. We went up to Lee Vining to get Vici's stuff from her room. Got everything loaded stopped for lunch & headed out of town. We got about 3 miles out when Vici's phone rang. It was the school districts attorney to tell Vici the district had rescinded her transfer & she would be working full time back in Lee Vining. So we turned around & unloaded her stuff & got her keys back. About that time the Union Rep from L.A. called to tell her the same thing. So we are back to our original plans. When we got back to Hawthorne one of the Yuma schools called to offer a job. They understood the situation & a door was left open to the future if we want to head back to Yuma. The big problem is the job Vici has in California pays so well & the benefits are outstanding, that we want to ride this job as long as possible. It is in a real rural area that is the gateway to Yosemite National Park.
So stay tuned to this channel at least it isn't boring.
Yea, Hot August Nights is pretty crazy. My buddy & I hit a few venues. Then set up our chairs for the cruise In Sparks at Victorian Square. Neither of us can walk much getting too old & crippled. But your right if you want to see it all it will take the whole time the event goes on.

Oh ya by the way guys I got the chance to look at the 97 expeditions brakes it looks like I am going to have to replace the front right and left rear rotors along with the brakes. I got a nieghbor whom has a 98 Expedition he is using for parts I am going to go see if those rotors are any good. I wish he had the grill. Also tomorrow will be the 1 year anniversarry of us owning our 2002 F250 4x4. Also 2 year anniversarry of us paying payments (been doing double payments next august).

Thanks, Yea Yosemite in the winter is closed from our end. You can't get over the 10,000 ft pass. So we become pretty isolated in the winter. Most of the L.A. crowd stop @ Mammoth Lakes Ski Resort about 35 miles south of us,
It is beautiful year around though. But when it gets too cold we have a place in Bullhead City to retreat to. We bought another trailer & in Oct I will pull it to a permanent RV space we reserved there. That was part of the Plan A. Plus a trip to Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas this year.

Good Afternoon Everyone, welcome home Gerry. Well Vici received her contract today & she is making $2500/yr more than we thought. So she got a total of a $6500/year salary increase. The same benefits including my med, dental, eye, & prescription 100% paid by them.
So all the ups & downs were worth it now that it is over.
She got another call from a Yuma area school today.
It is always amazing how God works when you let him.
