Y block tranny

Hello all,
I have a 53' f-100 with a 312 (ecz 6015 c) in it. I am looking to put
A modern transmission such as a T-5 behind it, is there a good adapter plate or new bell housing I can get to make this work fairly easily?

Thank you, y-blocks rule.

They make adapters for it, don't have a link off hand, but they're out there. Tend to run about $800. A couple members on here have done that with theirs, it's pretty awesome.

Any pictures of your truck? Love to see it
