i have no problem drinking it in moderation, but most people will not even look at it.

back in the 70's and 80's there were times we had 5 pots burning.

True, but most people put waaaaaay too much apple in it and it takes on an entirely new life than what it was supposed to be. Toss a peach pit in and call it a day. And moderation is key.....

I agree, moderation in the flavorings!!! I had some apple pie shine once, and it was just a bunch of sugar and cinnamon ... kinda gross!

I am going to order all the gears for my axle and want to make sure I am getting what I need. I believe it is Yukon. I am getting all the spider gears the ring gear and the pinion. I am not sure how this was supposed to come apart but I had a heck of a time walking the spider gears put with the preload on the clutch packs. In the end I used gentle persuasion. What is the proper way?

On the hub bearings there is a flat metal plate on the inner most bearing one plate was beat up the other is nice and flat. I assume these are the oil deflection plates that help with leakage. Where can I get another one?

And on subject. I have never tried moonshine....

I don't believe in flavoring moonshine... I will drink it pretty much only straight, same with whiskey and tequila.

I also have several gaps in my memory.

Those two things might be connected.

Aaron, looks like more top notch work coming out of southern Indiana!
Sounds funny to say you left farming for a job...to support farming, but yeah, I guess that's more or less what I did too. Though we're more like "hobby farming" but it's still plenty to keep us busy. It's a blessing, indeed.

And yeah, Aaron has mad skills. He denies it, but he's weird like that.

Yeah, Nate, I'm sure it sounds funny, but that was the situation unfortunately. I would still call this hobby farming.

But how is my tractor treating you? My f-i-l texted me last night that the Ferguson to-30 I worked on for him mowed the field yesterday for the first time. I think he was happy. Could have used the mahibdra diesel but he went ol school

The above part number is for SD trucks which appear to be smaller in diameter than the OBS part which is F4TZ-1250-A

And to further this for anyone interested ford part number F4TZ-1S177-C has the inner bearing the seal and the slinger in one handy package. Unfortunately my local dealer claims the inner bearing seal is no longer available. I will call with a part number and see what happens.
