Man, I'm gone for one day and Glenn gets a new truck, and everyone else is fighting about transmission types...
I paid $3k for a performance trans build from a local shop on my E4OD when I swapped to 4x4 on my truck. Upgraded clutches, shift kit, triple-disc billet converter, etc...
So far it's great! Puts the power down, firm shifts (2-3 is a bit stout sometimes).

Don't I know it. Sometimes I can't remember if I'm coming or going. When it get's me down, I talk to one of the local guys up here who's got the same year truck as me, but has over 620k on his.
On another note, I finally took the time to bale the last 15 acres of hay today and took the time to go and vote. I'll consider it a productive day if my guy wins next week.

Well I'm home, long day. I got a bunch of pictures that I'll work on later. I'm five pages behind, I'll work on them later also, LOL. Anyway, the gears are 4:10's LS, everything works that I have checked so far. There is a tiny bit of vibration at about 65mph but this thing for being stock with 172K on it runs amazing. I was towing the Geo and twenty miles later my wife had me stop and unhook to Geo. She is very senitive to dust, mold, mildew, cleaning supplies, etc. etc. She drove the Geo behind me, LOL. Finally, peace and quite, LOL (aren't I mean?) The condition is to clean it up so tomorrow I'm pulling the seats and carpet and useing that purple stuff? mentioned in that other thread. I'll clean the seats all up and put leather conditioner on them.
