Connectors should be on my door step today so we shall see just how "idiot proof" they are. These are the last of the parts I was waiting on, but I likely won't get to do much with it until Wednesday or so.

I have the Anderson connectors on my truck for jumper cables. As long as the wires are in the correct spot in the connector, it would be very difficult to connect them backwards. Now if you put the clips for the jumper cables on the incorrect battery post, that is a different story.

Hah! Yeah, you can't make that foolproof, exactly, can you? I've probably done that before at some point.

I got the connectors last night and you guys are absolutely right, it'd be hard to screw that up. I hope to dive into this project later this week as time allows. With any luck, maybe I'll be winching this weekend.

Southern Illinois weather is here again!

Going to be basically 60, then drop 40 degrees, get some freezing rain, then 1-3" of snow on top of it. Who says it can't be spring and winter in the same day

Awhile back, I did the fuel filler neck mod (harpoon mod?) The one where you gut the filler neck to make it fill faster. Anyways, it went fine, but now when I fill my truck, I can only go 10 cents at a time then it bubbles over onto the ground... 10 cents, bubbles. 10 cents, bubbles. You can see why I'd get upset in a hurry... what's going on here?!
