The good thing is they caught his azz.
He was charged with
Grand theft auto
Possession of stolen goods
Destruction of state property
Felony theft of value exceeding 100k

The truck is done for.
Cab is broke from frame
Frame bent
DEF/DPF is ripped from engine
Oil pan crushed
Box is busted open
Front leafs and axles are bent
A/C is destroyed
When I got to the truck it was still running but running real bad.
Both CEL's were on, every warning light for the DEF/DPF was on and all three trans lights were on.

I agree. The owner and I were talking this morning about how slim that rear door is. The visibility in the thing is unreal.

Someone along the line trimmed the passenger side of the front bumper but not the driver side. Hmmm?
Truck looks much better JP. My 285's have never rubbed and I know my front springs are worn. Maybe yours are more worn? Lol. IIRC stock front shock should sit 21" eye to eye.

On edit those numbers are for 350 4x4.....

Man Mike, you're having some luck with rigs. I'm assuming ins will take care of it? Not like it's not a PITA. You get your Ram's front end fixed?

Holy crap mike. That sucks. I agree with you on hating thieves. I've been pretty lucky on the farm but I have put in some precautions. At least you got your tools back. Hopefully insurance makes it right but the downtimes no fun

Ouch! Stupid waste of oxygen. Hope they put him in the cell with "Bubba". It's one thing to steal, it's another thing to steal the very thing that a productive member of society uses to make their living. What a D-Bag.

This is really funny because that's exactly what I found on my truck. Someone prior to me getting it had trimmed one side of teh bumper and not the other. Mine was rubbing occasionally on my 350 4x4 with 285 (17's), but I know my springs are sagging. I'm just biding my time before I can do a RSK with SD springs.

It's amazing how wheels and tires can totally change the whole attitude of a truck isn't it?

Man, I could write out a whole list of things to use that for! Looks sharp, Todd.

The RSK and SD springs are a fall project for mine. Leaning toward the Sky 3" kit with a 5" One-Up Offroad traction block (ladder bar + block) in the rear.

And yes, tires change a truck immensely. I went from A/T's to Toyo MT's on my half-ton, and everyone said how much more aggressive it looked and the MT's just fit the build so much better.

Wow Mike That sucks! Hope you get that all squared away.

Thats a fancy looking piece of equipment there, Todd. I wouldn't have the slightest clue where to begin with it...lol

Might be hauling a truck for a buddy this weekend, its up in Michigan, I'm sure the scenery is gorgeous up there this time of year. Right on the lake from how it sounds. Should know by the end of the day. Truck should be up for it. (*Knocking on wood)

Happy Friday Everyone. Its kinda cool and dreary here today. Heard there's a chance for snowflakes, spose to get down into the low 30's. Man its too early for that!

Morning Thomas. Yeah, they say that colder weather's heading here soon too...maybe a risk of light snowflakes in the high ground over the weekend but nothing sticking. Way, way too soon for that...

Mike, was someone chasing the thief? Or was he/she just that bad of a driver?

Todd, nice Skid Steer. I could make use of that! Do Cat's have foot controls for the bucket?

JP, good looking tires. Your truck has hit puberty, lol.

EDIT: Tom when I'm typing a post the "Enter" key is not working properly. Is this a bug with the update?
