Valve stem seals?
Is FelPro okay to use? I can get Felpro here but motorcraft is a bit harder they would have to come out of the US.

Thanks Adam,

I will get those on order with a valve height micrometer and be ready for the next round of parts to show up.

WOW! I totally read that out of context. The previous posts were talking about seats and I thought you meant blue was the best seat color out there!

Oh good God no. It had blue interior and I despised it. Grey or if they had offered it black or nothing.

Is anyone able to run a Vin number for me? Looked at a good donor today and want to see what the Vin has on it.

Very nice Nate. Red interior eh :-/ ? Still better than blue :-( puke.

What do you look to verify from a VIN check?

Looks like a good candidate of a body. I approve lol. like anybody asked me ha ha.

Is that close to you? Sounds like you did quite a bit of running around looking over the weekend.

I saved all the lumbar parts etc from mine just in case I could ever get a new bladder.

I was hoping to confirm the details of the truck with a VIN check and accidents. It is pretty clean and straight so I am not too suspicious but I like to know. I don't have a grey xlt interior to replace the red but I do have a nice xl interior.

The truck is about an hour south of me. I was hoping to see it before my run down through Seattle and Portland but he didn't have time. The truck is listed as a 96 but it is a 95. It is leaking fluids from all the places these leak. It still has the orange boot on the turbo and there is so much dirt caked in the valley it is hard to make anything out. It did pass a blow by test but it is a very noisy engine. I may compression test it and set it aside as a spare, but it is a 95 block so it will need a few parts changed over to be similar to the 97 block. It has a rebuilt s42 under it and it shifts okay, 2nd gear is a little slow but it doesn't grind. The rear end was got into and the diff tag was not put back on so I am guessing its 4.10 after driving it.

Is there anything I need to know about a 95 body going onto a 97 everything?
