Yes they are! Each leaf is the thickness of 2 or 3 of the Stock Econoline leaves. But I got them for $200. buying them saved me $500.00. Hopefully pulling the some of the leaves will soften the ride a little.

It is looking like I won't start the actually work on the van until next spring/summer. So Between now and then I've got a lot of parts to buy.

How much did you pay for it ?
I'm shopping and looking for one by me.

It was $350.00. Not super cheap. But most of them I found were double that price and 3.55 gears. But with me going to swap in the smaller engine I wanted the steeper gears. But I'm also going with a slightly taller rear tire. So that will help a little at highway speeds.

I found this one on car-part.com.

350.00 is cheap since a limited slip alone is an easy 600-700 bucks and you got the complete rear assy.

I understand fully now why you are changing the hangers Ted! Thanks for the link to your thread, I look forward to seeing your project come together..
It's a shame that photobucket is extorting money from folks...

My stock hangers are ok, but they are a little crusty. But these springs came with matching much beefier hangers and shackles so I'm going to use them.

I'll start a new thread when I start the work on this. It's easier since most of the pics on this one were on photobucket. When they pulled their crap I saved the pics to my desktop and closed my account. I've had my account with them for over 10 years and they pull that crap.

Between the pics and this thread running off the rails a couple times it will just be easier to start a new one.
