93 5.0 Timing bump?

Hey guys I was wondering if I could benefit by bumping the timing in my 93 F150 5.0? It has new autolite copper plugs, accel wires, and new cap/rotor. I am mainly looking for a little better power and acceleration. I guess these trucks at set at 10BTDC from the factory so would going to like 12BTDC be a good setting?

^ what he said. And If you start pinging, just back to timing down till it stops.

I just set mine to the 12-14 ballpark. Dont expect anything ground breaking, I didn't know what the factory setting for a 5.0 was.
