Very happy with my Duraflaps. FYI they give you 10% off if you mention this forum when you order.

I purchased mud flaps from Ford. There is nothing flashy or special about them. They are just black flexible plastic, easy to install, and do a fine job.

Not trying to sell anyone on anything, just thought I'd throw up a couple pics of the AirHawks. I should have taken better pics of the mounting (and washed the truck lol), but I installed the Ford OEM rear fender liners, so my install was a little more challenging.

They have both a no drill and a screw on method. The no drill method is really slick, but I used to combination of both just to be sure.

dang I wish I had known about the 10% off for the duraflap flaps.

Hey B&L,
what are the wheel well liners you mentioned? Is there a Ford part number? What kind of price are we talking?
thanks

They were about $120 CDN. I'll check on the part number tonight when I get home.

Overall I'm happy with them, they're a nice addition, they certainly seal up the fender well nicely. I'd probably buy them again, but frankly, they're too much money for what you get. They should be standard equipment, not an expensive "accessory".

Are the screws self-tapping or do you drill?

Did you seal the metal after screwing them on to prevent rust? And how would someone do that? I want some just like yours but was concerned about the expose metal from the self tapping screws or drilled holes.

They come in a non-chrome version too right? The front grille has far exceeded the chrome quota already for the entire vehicle.

My rental F-350 had really thick mudflaps, like the ones for medium duty trucks but SRW sized. I was meaning to ask where they got them when I returned it, but they processed the return so rapidly I didn't even have time to ask.

X4 on the Duraflap. No drill, uses existing hole and hardware. Very sturdy, bulletproof stainless steel hardware, 10% off for forum folks. They are works of art and make your truck look like a truck. Mine are ribbed on the tire side allowing mud, snow to run down and off, not stick there. get em!

I did the same, and I could not be happier. Ford log on the splashguard is nice too

Any pcitures of the Dura Flaps on a new SD? I really like the design and the 10% off for forum members and the fact that they are just an hour South of me in Grants Pass, OR!
Thanks for all the great help.

I thought that there were pictures on the Duraflap web site, but maybe those were older trucks. I have my new duraflaps in hand just waiting for the new truck to show up. In my profile pictures i have some pictures of the duraflaps on my 06 F350.

B&L.....thanks for the part number.

Here's my Duraflaps. I'll have to try to get a better picture. These are the longer ones. Does a great job of protecting the paint.

SignalMaintainer,
Thanks for the pictures! I was wondering if the long, or the short would be best and I know know the long will work great. I can't tell if you got the ones with the chrome weight strips, or not. I am thinking all black.
Nice Truck!!!
