Lift Kit Questions?

I have a 1992 F250 with 33s, no lift, no suspension change. I want to lift the truck up and put 35s on. Up front I have Fords TTB (Twin Track Bar) and a 10.25 solid axle in the back, strait leaf springs. I was curious if anybody knew a good company that still carries a lift for my truck? And if so, a good lift size for 35s? I was thinking a 6 inch.
Anything helps, thanks.
Jake

6 inch might be a little much for just 35" tires. I'd go right around 4 inch. Skyjacker makes a pretty good lift, and so does Superlift.

yup no problem. A friend of mine had an identical truck to the one in your sig, color and all, and had a 6 inch lift with 35" tires, it looked goofy. He should have put 38s under it.

I'm in the same boat except mine is a 97. I have a small Hijack for the thread.....

How goofy will it look if I do 4" lift and keep my 33's under it? I ask because they are new.

End Hijack... Sorry about that.

It won't look too bad with 33s on it. It wont look as good as 35s, but itll be alright

Rough country has good lifts for that too. I have a 4" susp and 3"body running 37's. Looks fine and they only run about $700 for the lift and $200 for the body. Not bad, and pretty tough too. I have jumped this truck many times and had no problems with the lift. Other things are another story tho.

Idk about 33's on a 4". I had some on my 94 with around a 5" lift and it looked sad. Kinda like puttin regular sized shoes on a clown. 35's would be a much better choice in my humble opinion.

35's would be better, but I know for me its not fully in the budget. Plus I have new 33 BFG all terrains. Do you have any pictures of the 4" lift and 33's?

It just scrapped a 4" lift from my brother f250 when I put a Dane 60 in the front of it.
It was a rough county. rode like CHIT. The new F350 leaves w a fitted add-a-leaf rides better

Could I ask what the biggest difference/improvement was with the solid axil steering/ride vrs ttb steering/ride? Did the truck have any wonder or bumpsteer before? after? Other than the DANA 50-60 size I am wondering what the differance is ON road. final thought I hope the 250 you swapped was ttb lol.

As far as ride, the TTB springs have a much higher rate, so they ride like ****. The Dana 60 will out turn the leaf sprung TTB, and as far as bump steer, if brad setup everything correctly (which I'm positive he did, he seams real **** about that) then there won't be any noticeable issue.
