Just wanted to know if any of you guys would know how to do this, or have had it done? I do have 35x12.50x18's on it. I did go to the tire center here in my town to have them reprogram it but only worked for a few to a week cant remember. Thanks!!

It goes through the BCM if I remember correctly. I don't think it can be disabled. Chuck, it seems like I've read of a way to change the parameter so that you can lower or raise the pressures. I haven't had my SCT device from 5 Star out in awhile, can't remember if it can be done via that or not. Wish I could help you more.
But maybe someone here has found a way around it.

I know the dealer can change the parameters, I had my '16 lowered to 65, down from 75/80. Whether or not it can be turned off I've heard different things, but mostly nobody would be willing even if fhey could. It being a safety feature, there would be some liability issues with disabling it

From a YouTube video I saw with a Ford tech that was on another thread here, it's been federal law for everything from the 2009 model year up. So I bet you're correct in that a dealer likely will not disable it even if they had the ability.
I wonder if someone with FORScan could do it? I'm pretty sure that I don't have that ability with FORScan Lite on my iOS devices.

It can not be disabled, meaning if you have a faulty sensor, you will have to get it replaced to fix the warning. You can drop the setting as low as you want though. A few ways to do this. The dealer(dealer willing), forscan, and some tuners. I'm 99% positive the sct x4 has an update available now that allows you to change it. I had the truck shop at work hook up to mine and drop it to 50psi so that I could run 60 and 65 psi. Unlike some, I think tpms is a great thing, when working properly. The dealer has the ability to do a lot more than some will lead you to believe, seat belt chimes, top speed limiters, shift points etc.. All that comes with liabilities.

Thanks guys for the posts. Its not really an annoying feature. I guess I just don't like lights up on my dash. I like it clean. So ill just leave it then, I've got my TP set at 50psi.

Thanks!

I have a 2015 f350 and had the same problem. I put a set of 35's on my truck and then could not get rid of that light. I have since got a 5 star tuner and when I loaded the new software it had the option to turn off the tire light. So if you get a 5 Star tuner you can turn it off.

Also when the dealer put the lift and tires on for me they said they tried everything to get that light to go away and said they couldnt do it so I'm guessing the only way is with the tuner.

Did they try the correct procedure that's in the owners manual? It's very easy and worth a shot to try yourself.

Another thing, if you bought new sensors for the new wheels, it takes a special tool to program the sensors to your truck, which they probably didn't have. The reset procedure in the owners manual is just intended for tire rotations, because your suppose to run different pressure front and rear.

FORScan can disable tpms for guys who run show tired etc. I don't recommend disabling, but it can be done.
Check the FORScan thread in the 6.7 area.
