Hey Guys. Thought I would add to this forum about my truck and how I came about buying it. I have owned a variety of trucks for sometime now. My first was a Toyota longbed (1985). I kept that one for 17 years and my son ended up driving it for awhile. Finally gave up the ghost at 201,000 miles. During that time I bought a 1999 F150 and still going strong at 171,000 miles ( 6cycl). I did own a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer (5.0) and traded it in on the 2010 F250 Lariet (21,500 miles) in December. The Lariet has all the options with the exception of the navigation system and the moon roof (Does have a color matched tonue cover also). I purchased the F250 for $35,000 which included taxes, title, etc etc. from Bozard Ford in St. Augustine, Florida. I checked on the previous owner as to why he traded in the vehicle and he stated he did not need all that truck. It was a Ford Certified Used truck and still under the 36,000 3 year warrenty. I am still debating with myself about the extended warrenty option. I did some research prior to purchasing and Edmunds/Kelly blue book priced the vehicle from $47,000 to $50,000, so I believe I got a good deal. I did some walking around the dealership during the final stage of purchase and looked over the newer F250's (2011 and 2012) on the lot from Lariet to King Ranch and saw prices from $54,000 to $62,000. Just a point of reference as to pricing around the country/Canada.
