Dont know if this is proper place to post but do any of you guys or gals know where i can get a 2008 hatch glass heated and with privacy type for a reasonable price . Used would be fine but the dealers want soooo much, mine has scratches in it and want one not scratched. Dealers want big money and on tight budget so looking for one that wont break the bank any ideas? Sorry if i posted in wrong place ....

 

There are three sources I can think of, the 1st being the dealer, the second, a boneyard and the third, LOF or other glass replacement shop. I've never gotten a rear glass, but expect there are aftermarket sources. I have gotten replacement mirrors, cut to fit, and installed for very attractive prices.
The boneyard may want about 1/2 of the dealer price, as that seems to be their formula.
Have you tried using polishing compound to eliminate the scratches? Jewelers rouge and a good buffing wheel may cost less.
