Looking that way, I'm really impressed with the amount of involvement thus far, this is awesome

 

I doubt we could find a place that suits every single person, I think they did a great job with our choices! Also might have something to do with the ridiculously large size of our state!

 

We should expect another 50 or so votes I think...

 

Then it is still way up in the air for where it will be, if anyone has a preference better start lobbying now.

 

I wont be able to make it no matter where it is unless maybe if it was in Fort Worth. LOL. I just started a new job and I have absolutely no free time. But hey at least I have a job. Hope it is a great turn out and someone take some pics and post them please.

When the ole ball and chain started her new job, we hated that we had to loss out on any trips for the next year. Just qualified in the fall of last year for vacation time. Boy she wanted to take it right after she qualified.

 

I'm in for lake livigston or Houston area.

Livingston was my next choice only because I didn't know what it was before i voted but it would be a lot closer for me. I just want to know when it's gonna be and I'll try to make plans

 

I'm thinkin because its looking like new braunfels area maybe the 2nd to last week of may. Prices are cheaper and its just before all the schools let out so booking will be a lot better

 

I am OK with that! Will be at the ROT Rally in June and possible at a retirement the week after that so hoping it is not in June! I cannot believe how the voting stalled but still a great turn out for it.

 

I found one place in New Braunfels that is really cool that allows camping with tents and rvs and they also have cabins, but its like a highly family oriented place and has lots to do just for kids which might be great. My wife can babysit some kids while others may want to ride the river or what nots here is the link to it.

I've been to Landa a couple of times. I had fun but you should know that that dang train goes by about every 30 minutes or so. lol It really bugged some people in our group (ladies of course). No problem for the guys though, we were too drunk to care or for it to wake us up.

Jellystone looks nice! Better keep an eye on your pic-a-nic baskets!!

 

I think I'm going to go ahead and start the poll to see where to have it, that way, just before the end of January we will have a PLACE< DATE< for the GTG. Yes That's what I'm going to do,Right now.
