Actually I am a devout customer of El Pollo Loco Flame Broiled, but wasn't sure how many know about the chain outside California. For better or worse, "Ebbebuddy noz KFC!"

Never tried them...that pic alone is enough to make head down there for lunch today though!

Had dinner at Popeye's last night. There's not one near me but I was going through Vallejo last night at dinner time so I stopped by. They do a pretty good job on the chicken. I don't do KFC anymore though. Every time I do, I regret it by the time I'm done with the meal. Just too greasy and my stomach doesn't seem to like it.

Vallejo eh? Haha nice town . My grandpa (now deceased) used to live in Benicia overlooking the Bay. I loved his house.

Not much there any more, I counted about 6 ships yesterday when I crossed the bridge. I think most have gone for scrap but some may be floating museums.

"Floating museums"... There's a joke there somewhere, but I'm not going there.

Wow, that's all?

I haven't been across the Benicia bridge in many years. The last time I was there they still had a ton of ships out there.

Yeah last I heard the few that were there were destined for scraping... my grandfather used to have some navy binoculars that my brother and I would use to look at them. I think my grandfather used to tell us about the ships and such but I don't really remember anything from it.

I don't know if it will work but here is a wiki link for the Mothball fleet in their various locations.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natio..._Reserve_Fleet

I hadn't heard about all the pollution they were leaving at Suisun Bay.
