The more I thought about it the only heater that would work is the standard box heater .I do have one .At least with it you would get heat & defrost . Read through your posts & realized your truck is right hand drive . DUH !!
hey aussiecowboy nice thread trucks looking great do you still have the red cab? as looking for a complete dash frame to swap out on a L/H drive fi one im bringing back from the US also the vent windows I there still there
Cheers
The red cab is sold mate. I do know where there is another one in the bush that wouldn't cost much and I have a complete spare gauge cluster for it. Perth is a long way away though.
Just out of curiousity , what is a long drive to get parts/project car or truck in Australia . Canada and Australia are both kinda big countrys . Longest drive i've done in one day is about 1400 KMS .
Trumph is in Perth which is 3300km from me, one way. Longest run I've done for parts was 3200km in 49 hours, Brisbane and back to collect 1927 Pontiac and parts. Anything over 500km makes me think long and hard about whether I really need it though, fuel is very expensive here.
Great finds...very cool to see a right-hand drive F3. I'm looking forward to future posts as your restoration moves forward. I just picked up a 48 F3 here in the States...all things considered it is in great shape. I haven't tried to start it yet but I'm encouraged that it will based on the pictures of the engine compartment of your F3...I think mine was running recently so we'll see...I'll post pics later.

I'm brand new to FTE so I'm just figuring out the mechanics of the forum threads...just realized that I caught your F3 restoration thread at the very beginning...just scrolled through and saw the entire thread...WOW!! You have quite the setup there downunder. I'll definitely mark this thread for future reference...my plans for my F3 are not settled...first goal is just to get it running and enjoy it...we'll see from there.
