Odometer Question
WHAT CONTROLS THE MILES ON THE ODMETER IN A EXPEDITION......IS IT IN THE SPEEDO ASSEMBLY?
OR IS IT IN THE ECU? OR IS THERE A SERPRATE CONTROLER FOR THE MILE THAT SHOW ON THE ODOMETER... IF EITHER ONE IS REPLACED HOW DO THE RIGHT MILES STILL SHOW ????

Odometer Question
I believe it's tied into the computer, and it's all done with the software. I believe I have read somewhere on the internet the procedure for doing it, but it's a touchy subject, and probably illegal, however good your intentions are. A large amount of profit is made now by turning back odometers on high mileage vehicles, but instead of shady mechanics doing it, it's the hacker crowd that's into it now.
