2-cycle oil in fuel

For a 200:1 concentration, it would be 12.8 fl.oz., per 20 gallons of fuel or 24.3 fl.oz. per tank. Does that sound right? Who is running it and what are the benefits?

I run walmart supertech two stroke. I generally pour one quart in with a fill up (30 gals at 1/4 tank)
It replaces the lubricants that the Ultra Low Sulfur diesel doesn't provide.
There are many options, but I prefer the 2 stroke. it keeps the fuel system lubricated, fuel pump, & injectors.
It makes my truck a little quieter.
Here is a chart that shows the benefits of additives

I was using Diesel Kleen, but I think I will try the 2-cycle oil. Does Wal-Mart sell the oil in a gallon jug?

I'm planning on buying #4 in Franko's list...the OptiLube Summer Blend. It's dirt cheap per tank, but you have to buy something like $60 worth per pop. That's OK, it'll keep!

I watch the cycle store ads they will always have a 2-cycle synthetic on sale usually the Polaris blue in 1 gallon for around 25.00 is what I end up with but occasionally the Bel-Ray, or Torque Plus I just buy the gallons that are cheapest, I had lots of smoking issues with the super tech in the kids little quads years ago ^so I don't buy it for that reason, probably would be ok though!

I use whatever 2 cycle oil is laying around. I don't measure perfect amounts, just dump in half a quart or whatever feels right.

You have to order it from their website. That is a hassle to me. I want to be able to walk into a local store to pick stuff up and not have to order it. That is why I went with the Super Tech stuff from Wal-Mart. If a company can't get their products out into the market, then I will pass.

Just make sure it is TC-3W ashless oil, which the walmart supertech 2-stroke is.
