Good morning all, spent yesterday changing some sensors and switches on my truck. Nobody can could tell my why it would run good sometimes, and then run like total crap the next. Odd because it would never set a code, so I changed the IACV, EGR pressure switch, and the EGR vacuum switch. Seems to be running better, so I guess time will tell.
I also tried to get the Y pipe off so I could get it welded back onto the CAT flange, but time and weather were not on my side. The flange bolts to the exhaust manifolds wouldn't budge, so I'm gonna remove the manifolds with the pipe, then try to get the bolts free without snapping them. Can't find anyone who welds on a Sunday, so it looks like Columbus day weekend will be the plan.
