I am interested to know where you got the Carhart covers, what they cost , and if the have them for the 99 super cab with out the seat belts built into the seats .
Thanks ,by the way , carhart are the only brand pants I have worn for 20 years.
I have tried the Duluth trading fire hose pants, they are also excellent .
You are one of the proud few that can claim you are downsizing by going to a CCLB F350 Dually Not many can claim that.
Why are you getting rid of the old one?
Yeah, kinda sad in a way. LOL
Actually looking to get a smaller truck. We put our camper in a seasonal but will still pull it around. It was not fun and the normal size will help greatly to do that. Also my wife's new vehicle is a summer car so I somehow ended up losing my commuter and have been daily driving the truck. While I love driving it, it's a harsh ride unloaded. Way worse then what a 350 dually is.
Looking at a few places. The Carolinas are #1 right now, Florida, and texas are on the list as well.
My personal pick is North Carolina right now. Over near Jacksonville.
When I was in the USMC, we lived in Richlands N.C., beautiful & quiet area, at the time anyway. Trust me, you'll want to live outside of Jacksonville itself, typical military town, I guess Richlands was 10 or 12 miles from J'ville. Wilmington is a nice area also.

Yeah, we are looking in the more open areas between Jacksonville and Wilmington. Very reasonable pricing, good lot size, but close enough to either bigger area for work and the like...

You could always buy a beater to commute and upgrade the F450 to air ride. That should be cheaper than buying a newer truck lol I add to this that the 05-07 is probably the best looking Super Duty and with such a clean specimen, I'd hate to see it go.
