"Poo Ket" Or "Foo Ket" is the way I've always said it. Still, Thailand is a great country to visit. Great food, beautiful beaches (and women), temperate climate, and a lot of freakie stuff .

Well, it's a challenge to describe in the public part of the forum without a moderator slapping me around, but leave with word "torch" out of that last sentence and use your imagination.

 

Uhmm, no. I think you would get into as much trouble as your wallet (and morals) would allow. Sex to them is a commodity, nothing more. I was married both times I visited (and did not drink at the time), so I never took part in the availability of the women. But I can say, without reservation, that they throw themselves at the tourists- especially sailors. I got groped a time or two, but said, "no thanks," and they left me alone. It's a fun place. The 'girlie shows' are interesting, the food is wonderful, and the economy is fairly cheap.

Think of the term 'happy ending.' That should explain it well enough to avoid the moderators' wrath.

Remaining sober helps a lot. However, what I told the new guys on the ship who were worried about such a 'discovery,' that if the woman was so beautiful that you just couldn't believe it... it was probably a dude.
