Rob with the musket I have it cant hit the broad side of a barn from inside the carn. The again it is a smoothbore weapon shooting a round soft lead ball.

the ones on my 357 are rubber with a little black plasticy piece for the sides....

lol mines a Ruger too... just an SP101... they have a reputation for being a little inaccurate for theyre short lil barrel... course at 2 1/4" how could it lol...

 

My dad said the sights on the gun might need adjusted... I haven't messed with them. I haven't gone to the range in a couple months either, so I'm way out of practice.

I havent been to the range in over a yr Rob. I know Im a little out of practice with the shotgun. The musket Im still in practice with that.

 

Mine has the 4.5 inch barrel... I really want to get a 9mm semi-auto since the Ruger is way to big for concealed carry.

only a couple months?? that all?? i havent been in almost 6 years now... (say almost since its not 2012 yet).. my membership expired to the range i use to go to.. (but i let it cuz i didnt like the new range master they got).. and never found a new range to go to.. plus i didnt have the $100 to get a new membership either...

 

I have a really nice "range" in my back yard... however, the golfers get a little fussy when I start shooting out there, lol.

 

Have a goodone Brandon. Rob as for my closest range I go to a state run range. It is really nice and cheap to use for the day. And they are one of the few ranges to let me shoot blackpowder.

I hadn't shot for ages until last year when I joined the local club. My wife has to stay current on the 9mm for the Air Force, so she gets to practice occasionally on her duty weekends.

There is only one private club in this area, if you don't like it, you are out of luck. A couple of the state parks have outdoor ranges.

 

I go to a state forest Rob. There are a few private ranges closer to me but they dont let me use blackpowder because most of them are indoor ranges.
