No, I didn't get to sleep in...not much sleeping done this weekend at all...can't wait to get to work tomorrow so that I can get some rest...

 

I just finished up that Honda. It runs pretty well. I had to blow all the coolant and oil out of the exhaust, but it seems to be fine now. The engine is still cooking all the residue off of it, but that should be ok in a couple days. I think the fan switch is broken, so I have to look into that yet. All in all, I'm done and happy with it.

The guy with the Camaro is supposed to drop that off either tonight or tomorrow.

 

Terry as far as me starting the Aug thread:

1. I am a idiot at times, note I say "times' like this one, but not always, har de har har.
2. I was only helping you out, just so you know we are there for you.
3. I really lost a day from sat evening to this am, and I could of swore it was Monday.

I think its monday and you are all messing with me, lol.

 

One thing is painfully clear. I need a friggin' building. My driveway is full and I got a guy coming over in the morning for brakes. Maybe I'll ask the landlord for the dealership if he'll do a short term lease on his spare building. Half a week in and I'm up to my armpits in cars. I'm not complaining by any means, I just need more room. ....fast!

 

I'm on ten acres up here, Alan, but the commute would be a bear.

Well good evening to all as it is almost August, and yes Dave we are all busy as ever.

Alan sounds like getting the landlord extra bldg sounds like a great idea.

Ches gotta take the good with the bad.......especially if the good is cute and you can get the bad to go outside and play. lol

 

Ain't that the truth! Here lately, I've been going to work to recover from the weekend. Doesn't look like this coming weekend is going to be any different...

 

Well, the oldest managed to tick me off tonight, so I went outside and played with the '72 Camaro the guy dropped off for tomorrow. I got most of the power brake conversion done. I still have to throw on some chrome valve covers, bleed the brakes, and modify the brake pedal for the power brake rod. (the manual rod is just a little different.) I think I'm gonna hit it early and have the Camaro knocked out by the time my brake job gets here around 0900.

 

Alan you over achiever, all that in one day. Sounds like you are off to a great start, pace your self in the heat we are having this week.

Unk Bob what you say about a hand figuring out the Bronco's elec issue this week?
And we can get your filler neck located if not here we can make a JY run, say Wed?

FYI truck/tractor pulls at the fairgrounds this fri/sat. I think Penny and I and our card playing neighbors are going to the fri night 700 pm show.

I'm up before the heat. I'm gonna try to get this stuff knocked out by noon or so. I think tomorrow I'm gonna get my front axle gears done so my 4x4 is actually a 4x4.
