Just what I was thinking Tiny! He likes a little quarter/pounder with his "slice"!
I don't know what's wrong with mine this year, just not maturing, and when they appear to be ripe outside, they still have a green layer inside........ more like a winter gas ripened, cardboard-tasting, Florida, or imported tomato lookalike!...........

Well at least you are getting some maters... ours never made it into the ground this spring due to it being so wet and even if they did, they would not have amounted to much because of how dry it has been for the last month or so.

I used a little over 2&1/2 pounds of ground beef and made 5 burgers.
