Think Factory Tow Mirrors are Good? Yes/No?

Tow once with the C-Betr's brother, less than 10 miles, and you'd be hooked.
Heck, just drive around with them on for a day, you won't wanna take 'em off.

We love them on our Excursion. It was one of my wife's few demands when I was looking at buying my latest Ex The paddle mirrors just look like they belong on a car. Why would you want the biggest SUV on the road with tiny mirrors. I like them because the are very useful and extend out when you are pulling a trailer never noticed any blind spots all around happy with them

I just got mine and really like the tow mirrors. I hated the paddle ones on other trucks I looked at, both functionally and aesthetically. those 08 mirrors do sound nice though... how do they wire up if they add power folding? I'm guessing you would have to add a switch. My limited has the heated mirrors too which is priceless in winter... I wouldn't want to lose that.
Yes, a bit of wiring, and adding a few switches for the new functions. The 09 or I think 10 also added the lower heated mirror, so ya get both heated.

I just got my 2000 (former ride was a 97 Expedition). Compared to the Expy with **** tow mirrors, the X with factory mirrors kicks a$$. Even not extended they are awesome in comparison. The C-Betr looks like a cheap way to improve on the size of the blind spot mirror, but I don't know if I would like the look of them for daily use. I would love the '08 power fold option and the larger blind spot, but too pricey for me when the stock tow mirrors fit the need.

I added a set of these blind-spot mirrors onto my paddle mirrors.
They fit well and blend nicely, they don't vibrate too bad

Tow Mirrors
Those are all good and valid points, I must say. Although has anyone ever addressed the issue with night time driving and some not-so-polite driver behind blasting you with full high-beams on with mirrors this size? That's just my pet peeve; though I dare say a curse here and there albeit quietly.

Agreed. For the low cost of C-Betr mirrors I am 100% happy with my towing mirrors. In fact, I almost always use only the c-betr mirror now - it gives you a complete picture. I have the small factory convex mirrors point down at my rear tires - it makes backing up to a curb simple.

I often find a need to use my windshield washer at these moments.
It sometimes takes a LONG time to get the dirt off my windshield.
