Intake Tube...

I was wondering if anybody would know where to buy an intake tube that attaches to the 6637 filter... I would like to replace the stock one with a solid one for my 2000 F350...

Join the club, I've been looking for a while now and even called Clay (riffraff) to see if he sold them and he quit selling them a couple yrs ago bcus they were not cost effective. I need 2 of them myself.

How much were you selling them before? I think maybe a prepayed order would be better rather then going off someones word if they didnt sell that good last time but then again i'm not in the parts selling business and just throwing that out there.

check all your local muffler shops. I got mine for FREE from a guy near here that had some scrap laying around. It even had a nice bend in it to line up perfectly

If we produced around 20 of them the cost would be about $50 each powdercoated.

Thats a good price, I wash thinking they would be alot higher. Now would it be a 4 inch tube with a bootie that drops down to hook to the turbo or would it be 4 inch on the filter side and gradually go down to the turbo side.

im all in Clay, I need 2 of them. Alot of people dont want to mess around with going to the muffler shop and trying to find the right piece of scrap and hoping it fits/works.

I'd think a muffler shop would hook it up. A 4in piece from the rubber coonector to filter, is all you need. They should be able to bang one out somewhat fast.

Just to clarify, are we talking about a steel tube which goes from the CCV bracket to the 6637? Meaning, we would keep the stock piece that goes out from the turbo?

Clay, if these are 4" all the way and will work with the 38R/ported compressor housing setup, I'll take 2, if you end up a couple short, I'll make it 4 to make it happen.
