Need help with puttin in throwout bearing

I remove the transfer case separately, it's far lighter than the transmission (I have a T18). Remove the shifter assembly, speedometer cable, 4WD switch light, then a bunch of bolts in a circular pattern at the input shaft and it pulls straight off.
Transmission (well, for a T18) - the gear shift pulls up and out but there's a pin or dowel on the pass side, don't lose that.
I then set a floor jack under neath the tranny, remove the four bolts holding it to the bell housing, then pull it straight out. It's heavy, be careful.
Disconnect your clutch, remove the starter motor, pull the bell housing off.
You might create yourself an account on auto zone's site and look at their repair info for step-by-step instructions, or maybe buy a Haynes or Chilton's book.
