I'm looking at an old Econoline Pickup in a salvage yard. They are having a problem locating the title. They know the family that it came from however the owner may have passed, What have you guys done to get titles in NJ?

in NJ, you need to get the title from DMV. NJ will not accept a title from one of the southern state "title mills" anymore.
if the yard can not find the title, they can try to get an abandoned vehicle title from trenton.
