X Plan Question
X Plan Question
I am a member of EAA and am eligible for an x plan pin. My question is, do I need to have my pin number before I go in to order a truck? If I get my pin number does it have an expiration date (what if the truck takes longer than the expiration date to be delivered)? Also, how much time do I have to order a 2011 F350 before they change over to 2012?
call your selling dealer and ask. differnt stores handle things differnetly. I go in with a d plan pin ahaed of time.... But I have already checked the lot and asked the car to be put on hold for a day
My dealer ordered my truck and only required a pin number a day or so before I came in to sign the paperwork. I do not think the pin will expire before you get your truck....
When in doubt ask your salesman....

Ordered my truck today.
I got my pin number on line and took it into the dealer this morning and ordered a new truck.
I was told that you can order a 2011 Super Duty until May 23. The pin is good for one year from when you get it.

You can request an X-plan pin from a Ford employee here in the attachment. Likewise, ask your employer if they are a Ford partner, they will know.
You can get the same or better pricing using the COSTCO car buying service. If you're a good negotiator, you can beat X-plan anyway.
