Beautiful Blue and Silver 1979 F-150 Is a Cut Above the Rest

Ford trucks simply don't get much better than this.

 

It is a pretty truck.

My father-in-law bought a short bed the same color with a 351, 4 spd. and 4.11 gears at the Ford place in Rainelle, WV in 1979. That truck would go just about anywhere. I took it places it scared me to come back down out of.

Take care of it. Not many like that around these days.

 

nice looking truck. first one i have seen with a midship only fuel tank.

 

Like a lot of things on it I don't believe that's original. the standard tank was in the rear the front one was optional.

but i bett you cant drive it with out getting pulled over for suspected dwi. I zoomed in and its got some kinda steering funkiness going on.

I thought 79 had the better steer. that appears to have the same steering as my 76.
