ANY good paintjob starts with a crap load of PREPARATION. (Including the lowly rattlecan job...)

P.S. Thank you for inadvertently complementing how nice my truck looks... It looks that nice from ANY angle and in ANY lighting conditions by the way...

See...?
I'm not sure what you mean by this, but I wasn't saying your truck looks bad. You don't need to justify your paint job. I've gone the cheap way too, as shown previously.

Ever see an advertisement for a vehicle, where the pictures look really nice and compliments the vehicle well? Then look at it in person and the flaws stand out big time. I'm just saying, taking the right picture can make almost anything look good.

Sorry man. I must have misunderstood your post. There are just far too many people out there who are very critical of spray can paint jobs for no good reason. Post edited...

On another note; you do have a point, with the right angle and lighting ANYthing can be made to look nicer in a picture... Ever check out an online dating site...? LOL... Peace.

I had bought a "brush" painted truck a few yrs ago. They painted the whole thing with something close to RHINO-LINER, you couldn't scratch that truck with a nail! Really didn't look too bad either.

I bought an old '89 F150 4X4 a couple yrs ago that was painted with a brush. But instead of paint, they used roll-on BED-LINER, you couldn't scratch that truck with a NAIL! Really didn't look all that bad either.

So long as you're not concerned with "shine" 'cuz you KNOW that's NOT gonna happen. The one I had actually looked pretty good, besides, who's gonna know at 70 mph? And if it's parked, NOBODY needs to be that close anyway.
