Cooling System problems
Just got a 2000 f250 4wd, 5.4l gas powered. 150,000+ miles. It had a cracked radiator so i upgraded the stock !" fins to an f350 radiator with 2 3/16" fins. I replaced thermostat changed fan clutch and temp sensor. When thermostat opens and pushes antifreeze through, temp creeps up slowly then shoots past the H. engine also loses power. Besides a warped head or blown gasket.. What else could i check.. Help please..

How much coolant did you put back into it? It almost sounds like you've got an bubble in the system. I had a Jeep that did the same thing after cooling system service. I ended up having to "burp" the system and it cleared right up.
