steering column /keyless entry issues
i have a 1994 eddie bauer bronco 5.8 e4od,
haveing multiple issues w/ air bag light is blinking ,horn does not work ,cruise does not work all this resides in steering column ....
also i broke my key fob and bought a new one ,i went to reprogram it for my truck and proceedures to do so were followed to the letter ...no response from truck i wonder if this is related ..... i also will be fixing the shift plunger .....all great fun , any ideas appriciated ...

There is a piece in behind the steering wheel called a "clockspring". It allows the wiring to go from the stationary part of the steering column to the moving steering wheel without getting the wires tangled up. But they do wear out, and it's common to the airbag, the horn, and the cruise buttons.
thanks!!! i will check it out sounds like i have alot of sterring coulmn work to keep me busy
