Hi guys I live in Lang-ford on Vancouver Island. Just starting to build a 460 for my hunting truck a 1979 F250 ,4 speed .out comes the 351m (soo tired) and in goes the big block.I am pulling a large trailer or 24 foot boat and usually haul a camper so I need good power but In the non-hunting season I play in the bush with the truck so I don't want to go too radical.Any ideas would be appreciated.Keep the wheels on the ground.

I'm in Comox, Vancouver Island. I just bought my first Ford truck, a 1989 F150 with a 302 and T18 4-speed tranny. I need to repair a rust hole in the drivers door, but other than that the truck is in pretty good shape considering it has 291,000 km on the clock. I don't suppose anyone on the North Island would have a drivers door to sell.

Howdy Muddbugg; Did you get as much snow as FSJ? I heard they were hit with over 2' of the white stuff over the last couple days.
I am in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
I got my '02 F350 stuck in the mud yesterday about 8am while out hunting Elk, south west of Grande Prairie. Spent the next 16 hours in recovery process, finally got it out & got home about midnight. Some kinda tired & sore, here at work today... . Saw Moose Deer & Bear, never saw an Elk all day.
