Thanks for the reps.

SCII will have a new version for the lotto tickets, but it will be a very costly upgrade!

Just Remember,

Most all these codes are coming from James at Scangauge, or are being updated by Him.

Also, in the loop are:

Dieselstroke

npccpartsman

And many others entering these codes and giving feedback!

This has been fun.

Thanks folks.

Hopefully the math lesson from James will help me be able to adjust some of the MTH values for individual "gauges" if we need them in his absence. He is a great guy for sure and his help has been invaluable. IMHO the SGII has become the best bang for the $$$ by far.

repd you to npccpartsman you guys put alot of time in this making it better for everyone thanks
+1 bang for the buck$$$$

and the x-gauge for vgt is it supposed to count backwards
mines reading 68 at idle and goes for 0 at WOT
so high duty cycle # at idle {vanes closed}
and low duty cycle # at wot {vanes fully open}
does this sound right per a good valve

Atta Boy gentlemen ! put the boost and ficm in this morning and the numbers seem good,

Getting a free boost and ficm gauge is a GOOD thing !!!

these number correct ?

Gauge...KO.....@ idle.....@ WOT
BST................about 14...up to 38...
FLP....................13..........13-14
FMP.......47.5.....48.............48

Surprised to see boost when idling or when decelerating, didn't see it go below 14 @ any time ?!?

Now I have to decide which gauges I delete since I'm up to 24 xgauges but since some are useless to me... just take a little research..

That's because you didn't read carefully. Here's a clue: Standard atmospheric pressure is 14.696 psi.

Anyone getting torque readings on the Scan Guage? I have tried two codes listed from the PDF on the SG website and one listed a few pages back but I don't get a reading at all. Also, my horsepower seems low around 6-10 at idle, when I step on it I may get 150-175??? I know they produce less due to the accessories and wheels etc.. but

I just installed it yesterday so I am still tweaking with it. Should you be worried when there is a larger spread in oil and coolant temp before it gets to operating temps? Mine sometimes will show a 15-17 degree difference, with oil being hotter, before it gets up to 190-200 degrees....

My oil temps are always lower than coolant temps during warm up. I have 'assumed' that since the coolant is not circulating thru the radiator during warm up and the oil has such a large quantity fully circulating, the oil is slower to warm up.

Mine has EGR delete if that makes any difference.

Once warmed up the oil stays 5-10 deg warmer than coolant, even pulling my TT. But summer is not really here yet so I suspect all will change when it's 95 outside.

I have not tried TQ yet but my HP readings are different. I don't really trust that reading. The most I have seen is 235, and then the SG numbers start back at zero and continue to climb. So something is not set up right.

I wish I could chart (log) all of the parameters and have a program to compare others numbers. I bet there is a PC interface out there to do this through the OBD II.

Here are the modified signals for the XGauge JD. You can use the stock MAP gauge for the value or use this one and plug in one of the values below to subtract for the average atmospheric pressure in your area. Sometimes it takes a little "adjustment" so the boost value doesn't go negative by a couple of tenths.

BST 07E0221440 046285140640 3010 01220320???? PSI/BST MAP Modified signal PLUG IN VALUE FROM TABLE FROM YOUR MAP
MAP 07E0221440 046285140640 3010 012203200000 MAP EXTENDED RANGE

14.0 -- FF74
14.1 -- FF73
14.2 -- FF72
14.3 -- FF71
14.4 -- FF70
14.5 -- FF6F
14.6 -- FF6E
14.7 -- FF6D
14.8 -- FF6C
14.9 -- FF6B
15.0 -- FF6A
