automatic locks stopped working

I have a 2000 Super Duty Crew Cab and all four door locks have stopped working. When you hit the button or use the remote the locks jerk a little bit but they wont unlock. If you hit hit again it gets weaker and then stops moving at all. Not sure what to check. I have never heard of all four doors stopping at the same time.

Have your already searched and found the thread about repairing the door locks?

Did they stop working suddenly or were they progressively weaker?

How long have you had the truck? I saw your other post, it sounds like you just got the truck.

PDL Not Working Fix

I fixed mine this weekend. All four of my locks quite functioning correctly on my 2001 SD Crew. They would move slightly and occasionally lock or unlock. The fix is relatively simple; it took me about an hour on the first and about 45 minutes on each one after that.

Do a search for power door locks and you will find the fix . . . If you can't find it, let me know and I will search for it for you.

Good luck!

William
