I was wondering if anyone knows if Ford offered blue and gray exterior colors in 1979. If so I would appreciate any info on paint color or codes.
I bought this truck about a year ago for $500.00. It was pretty straight with rust in the usual places and a locked up 460 under the hood. It has all the factory options offered that year.
I found a good 460 and installed it. I had to chase plenty of electrical problems but finally it starts and runs and all the lights work.
I have remedied the rust with new welded in repair panels and am now ready to paint. It started its life as sort of an orange and cream but deep down it wants to be blue and gray.
I would really appreciate any help finding paint codes.
