Can't be the computer. The power for the fuel pump relay comes from PIN 57 of the computer true. HOWEVER, the EEC power relay gets power from the positive side of the ignition coil via the distributor wiring harness. EEC power relay is what feeds battery voltage TO the EEC computer. It does NOT get power FROM the EEC computer. So if there isn't enough voltage at the WHITE/LT. BLUE wire into the EEC-IV power relay the problem isn't in the computer... its in the electrical system upstream of the relay.

As for the +5VDC, the EEC-IV computer DOES generate this voltage for EVERY sensor in the truck except the HEGO sensor. So, if you are getting +5VDC at PIN 26 AND the power supply pin for each sensor, that only proves the +5VDC power transformer inside the computer is working properly.

That's weird because my Haynes manual is where I pulled that info!

You aren't the first person to mention this. I still am not sure why Haynes would take information out of a manual but evidently newer editions have less detail than the older ones. The last copyright date in mine is 1996.

Glad mine is also 1996 as I attempt to stay on the same page with you. I do have a second copy, new, if anyone is interested.
