Coolant temp sensor help!

Temp gauge not working after replacing water pump/thermostat. Tried 2 new sensors and gauge still not responding. How do I troubleshoot the harness?

Truck is a 2001 F250 4WD.

possibly, but probably not probable, but you think you got the epb and water temp sensor plugs switched? Not sure if it'll even fit on the sensors nor is there enough lead to do that.
