My 870 is 12 gauge. sits just right for me. the musket takes a little getting use to because of where the center of balance is and the fact it can be shifted bny adding a bayonet to th emuzzle.

I don't even think I have held a musket. Since I shoot left handed I don't like the pan in my face.

Im just used to having the pan near the face even though I shoot right handed. Back then you had to learn how to shoot right or you were not in th emilitary.
