Work on Ka'Bluey

Well allready getting prices to get some parts for Ka'Bluey. Gonna get new plugs, wires, fuel filter, check/top off both pumkins, and transfer case. Still haven't gotten the pressure washer out and blast em' but that's in the works REAL soon. Then go crazy with the grease gun, hit them joints and get that mud out that's going to act like an abrasive in there.
Rich that is GREAT news that we're not the only ones that has to watch the money. Be nice to see you again. Hollar and I'll drive something there. Wouldn't be Shari's Escape... Sorry I meant truck (that is for Terry) I can't stand that Escape of hers. Drives like a video game, and just not as roomy as my 01 inside.

Stock Breather

I think to help solve the issue of soaking a paper air filter, and drounding the carb, not to mention the chance of HydroLocking and enging. I think I'm going to get rid of the after market (used to be) chrome air filter base and top, and go back to a stock air filter body.
SO if you know of one that isn't being used, let me know what it takes to get it. really trying to get some work done to Ka'Bluey this year. i've had it 3 or 4 years, and haven't done much to that ol' truck.
Everybody be safe. Rich see ya' when you get home. We all need to get together and have some fun.

Good morning all. No dent work but I got to rub on the 'vert Rustallion for a while, getting the hood straight after the last "bodyman" tightened the bolts on the scoop too tight and bent the snot out of the hood where the scoop mounts. I also fought with adjusting the hinges to try and get it to fall in place better between the fenders, looks like I get to bend a brand new aftermarket hood. I also got the bushings for the 65 Mustang's shifter (real sloppy 4 speed), I'll get them installed tonight and when the roller rockers and studs come in next week, I'll get it running and hopefully send it home.

Ha Ford Ranger ?, do you know where Tualatin OR is. If you are near it there is a fellow FTE'er in bad need of some brake help.

tikkakoski is his user name, 73-79 forum thread called "Looking for pointers on doing my brakes. Never done em before". I am trying to give advise, but you know how it is.

If you are near and could help out much appreciated.

Good Morning!

Taking the day off to take Dad to drs in Springfield so I can play on the computer a bit.

I'll be tearing up the downstairs bathroom this weekend, so I'll not be doing too much else in my spare time (Ha Ha...).

Sorry to hear that you'll not be coming home early Rich.

Rich buddy I really appreciate that, really do. I think that the stock type of breather will keep my filter drier than the after market does. With the money cut backs will you be home longer?

Bath Time

Well I'm feeding the neck, gonna hit "The List" again then it's bath time for Ka'Bluey this afternoon. Gonna get everything cleanned up then by the weekend I should have the tune up, fluids, and something figured out the brakes. Kind of thinking the master cylnder is week. Pedal is soft, just feelsl ike the front brakes are working.
When we got the truck we replaced both front calipers, pads, hoses, both rear wheel cylnders. Bles the system but the pedal never felt right.
Y'all have a good one.
Unk Bob
