I managed to get my truck up to 80-85 mph on the interstate in SD once, but it probably won't happen again until something gets done with the loose steering or if I'm on a piece of blacktop 4 lanes wide with no crosswind.

I did about 85 in my truck once, speedo was buried, and I was turning like 3200 rpms. It actually wasnt as scary as I thought it would be in that truck.

About 85 on I25 bringing the pickup back to school. These things are definitely not stable after about 50mph. I am always amazed that people want to take them up to or over 100mph, what's the point?

Fastest I've gone is over 120mph. Don't know the actual speed because the speedometer was way off (read 90 around 120 mph) in a '71 Camaro. I've gotten my Monte up to it's limiter at 113 often enough and it's still plenty planted, same with the Porsche. I like cars because they're stable and fun, I like pickups because they can take abuse and are fun in the right situation.

Iv hit 90 in the truck listed in my signature. Sure takes a while to get there and screams to loud to talk to passengers but its a good time. Im young so I still like to lay the hammer down anywhere possible

Uh lets see... Hit the limiter in my 96 w? 351w ZF 5spd 98mph @ 4000rpm. Tried to find the limiter in a 2001 dodge neon once. Got to 120 and had to slow it down. Only took 3 days to get it to that speed.

about 95 in my 88 F150 with 35's... Fun ride.

Back when I had my 97 Ranger a few of us hummm ahhh tried to make it to the end of the freeway before the other.... I won at 115 or so..... The next night there was a cop waiting to see if we would do it once more. None of us ever did that after that one night.

I know. I remember when I worked in LA and lived in Texas. When the day was done I wanted to be home. I ran the crap out of my truck. 80 miles an hour or more. My truck felt very stable.. I thought so, anyway. It could be an illusion you know?

My 1989 F150 2wd 300 Straight 6, C6 3 speed, 3.55 tops out at 150km/h (95mph). Engine hits the rev limiter.

My 1990 F250 4x4 5 speed 7.3 Diesel (non turbo) 4.10 tops out at 130km/h (75mph), engine hitting the governor, (3300RPM).

1987 E350 Diesel motorhome, C6 3.54 same thing, 75mph. Takes a longgggg time to get there though.....

around 100, my speedo only goes to like 85 . these trucks, or at least mine, are all torque. So 0-60 is good (for a truck) but top speed is
