Well as Luke points out...those of us up north got some weather...about 6-8" of white stuff here yesterday and this morning...on top of about 1/4" of ICE...I'm thinking ROB from SD has something to do with this???

My kids had no school yesterday and are just starting out with a 2 hour delay...we'll see if they cancel today...they still have some time...UPDATE...as I was typing they just CLOSED school again...looks like these kids will be going until JULY at this rate! LOL...

Glad to see Luke is lurking no more!!!...stick around...there's lots of B.S. that gets slung in these threads each month!...great way to unwind...

There is a terrible rumor circulating that I am to blame for the Indiana snow... As much as I would have loved to send you some snow, I didn't get any snow here, so it wasn't possible for me to send it east.

So how is it that Indiana got snow and Joe isn't in California gloating that he missed out again?

You folks out east got some snow huh? We just got a dusting, not even worth breaking out the blower.

Nothing new to report here aside from the usual. Go to bed at 5am get up at 9, watch 2 y/o terrorist all day and hope he takes a nap before 3. Off to mommy's work for the drop off at 4. Work 'til 3:30am. Repeat Monday through Wednesday.

Recover Thursday through Saturday.

Yeah we got some snow...they called for 1-2" yesterday so I took the mini-van since Tracey wasn't going anywhere...well when I left work yesterday there was close to 4" already and then by about 8pm there was easily 6" if not 8" of white stuff...I broke out the small blower and as I was clearing my neighbors driveways I was realizing I should have broken out the big 2-stage...but it's all good...it is my turn to clear the snow since the last time I was in sunny LA as Rob points out...

Anybody do any ice fishing in this Indiana section? I just got back from Houghton lake in Michigan 2 weeks ago. It was a mess up there. 2' of snow on the ground and 3-4' drifts. My Dad and I got our Polaris ranger stuck, then tried to use the truck on the ice and then it got stuck. We ended up renting a snowmobile. Caught a bunch of pike on tip-ups. Too bad that they were all right around 23'' long. Last fish of the night right before we packed up broke my line. 25lb test spiderwire braided. I set the hook after it had ran for about 4 minutes and then it decided it wasn't going be caught today. Whatever it was, it was Big!.

Took my pregnant wife out ice fishing this last weekend. Wouldn't you know, she caught more fish than i did. My excuse was that i was worn out from drilling 20 holes by hand in 12'' of ice.

Well the kiddo's were on a normal school schedule this morning...first time all week!

I've got to support a major NASA review in about an hour and a half...so I'll be unavailable until later this afternoon...hope everyone has a GREAT Wednesday!

Yeah I've ice fished...haven't done it in a few years since I normally stock up on crappie in April and May up on the Coldwater MI chain where my in-laws have their cottage and I keep my boat...Wag ice fishes and I'm sure he will chime in for sure...he's been really tied up with work the last couple of weeks though...but he'll be back!

As far as your prego wife kicking your butt...well...just suck it up big fella...I start each day by rolling over in bed and kissing my wife and saying "I'm sorry"...don't matter what for...may as well get it out of the way early each day!

Arg.... Really don't like going to work when they can't think of things for me to do.... makes for a very long day....

Yeah I can see how that would weigh on you...but the good news is you have someplace to go to work...with obama spending like a drunken sailor...not sure how much longer any of us will be working since companies may not be able to afford all of his "surcharges" and such...so I just try and remind myself how fortunate we are right now...the good news...election year is just a short distance away!
