2000 Ford F-250 7.3 Diesel
Recently my truck just died in the middle of the road. The check engine light came on, and the "wait to start" light stays on for a second, then goes out. I did a load test on the batteries and found that I had a faulty, (shorted), battery, so I put a new one in. After having the batteries disconnected, it starts right up, and everything appears normal, runs for around ten seconds, then dies. It won't restart until I disconnect the batteries again. Then it starts right up again. I get no codes on my scanner, just a note that says unable to link to PCM. I'm thinking relay or fuse, but none are blown. Any help would be appreciated, thanx
