Good morning New York! Is everyone ready for the big snow? Sun is out now but this afternoon freezing rain changing to snow tonight with 18-20 by Wednesday.

We should end up with about 18" after 2 storms.. Starting tuesday..

The other problem is that we already have to much snow on the ground and no place to put anymore..

George, the local weenies are forecasting 4-5" tomorrow in advance of the storm. From what I have seen, it looks like I am in the 12" range.

 

Morning George, Neil! It's slicker than hell here now. Should just be a blast going home tonight...

 

We may get some freezing rain, but it sounds like it will be on top of the snow and not under it.

 

I'd rather have it that way. At least I got my daughter's snowman made saturday. Snow won't be worth a damn for that now.

 

Well that is a good thing then.

 

Yeah, we had fun. Had to wait for the snow to get just right, so it would stick.

 

All of the snow that we have had this year has for the most part been light and fluffy lake effect so it has not been the greatest for snowman building until it has had a chance to settle. It sounds like the storm is going to be bringing some heavy snow this time around.

Same with us, Neil. It warmed up the last few days of last week, so it was perfect on Saturday. Got cold again yesterday, so it all crusted over.
