I finaly got to start working on my truck.
its hard with the rain, college and a 4 year old girl and no mom around 5 days a week. but my truck is my off time lol

Yes this is a special week..........I get our anniversary, wifes birthday, and mothers day all in the same week!

 

Morning Dave, wow how lucky are you keeping it all together like that!

 

I still managed to get a fishing trip in yesterday!

 

I know I saw, did you give the boat a opening season shakedown cruise...lol

 

Lucky you!!!...you have the opportunity in one week to be the hero or dog house sleeping zero based on memory!!!

 

I fished last Saturday...only threw two into the box...wind was blowing 20+...gonna try and go later this afternoon and tomorrow...

I fish for crappies...and the pre-spawn is slow in developing this year...the water temps are still near 55°!!!...they don't start spawning until temps hit right around 64°...and based on how cool and wet it has been...that will take a few weeks yet...

 

I already had it out in late Jan when we had some real nice warm weather............it went straight back to winter after that.

 

The water temp was 40...........too cold for the trout to bite!.......needs to get to 50-55 for real activity.
