i think you should pick up a set of the harley seats for the front and since they dont make the rears you could take yours to a shop and have them recovered in black to match the front.. that would really help complete the harley look.. looks great though..

Had to go back to my gallery to look @ the 03, but the limited I had did not have the cladding, only the chrome strip down the side...
https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...=25211&width=0
Some had taken that strip off to make them more 'blackout'

think the cladding was only on the Eddie Bauer's - if I'm not mistaken...
I think it was AlaskanEx that even took his cladding off...

Nice... very nice!

You should pick up a set of chrome HD tow hooks for the front. You can pick them up cheap on ebay.

Thanks for the compliment Joe!!

Bob, will the HD chrome tow hooks off of a HD F-250 fit? I wasn't sure if they had a different bolt pattern than the 03 Excursion ones I currently have on. I also thought about just taking mine off and Chroming them. Do you have a link the ones you've seen on Ebay.

The F-150 tow hooks are the same shape and size as the Excursion and F-250.

I bought a set of the F-150 tow hooks and had them put on my daughter's 4X4 Explorer.

Thanks for the info VaSherrif.

Kosmo after taking a closer look at my Ex. my doors do have that cladding on the doors its just that they are painted the same color as the car so you don't even notice them.

Here's a link for the Super Duty Tow hooks:

99-07 Ford Super Duty F250 F350 2 Chrome Tow Hooks New - eBay (item 250736854828 end time Jan-02-11 05:48:36 PST)

They are easy to swap put too... you don't even have to pull the front bumper to do the switch. I did mine without any problems.

Are you 100% sure that F-150 hooks will fit on an Excursion (Super Duty) ? When comparing the two, I see different bolt patterns. I don't think the F150 tow hooks will fit.

My bad! Maybe the F-150 hooks fit the Explorer and not the Excursion.

My wife hit a small dogwood tree with the Explorer on ice one day, and the body shop installed the F-150 tow hooks for me free since they had the bumper cover off anyway.
